My name is Jordan Shaw, and I am a photographer and writer based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Here you will find samples of my work, and at faithandfrustration.wordpress.com you will find some of my writing on my faith and my life in the Downtown East Side of Vancouver - two sites for two different aspects of my personality.

I love photography because it helps me to tell stories. I love looking at the world, and examining where we, as human beings, fit into it. 

This website is not entirely professional, nor is it entirely personal. It is a mix of the two, much like myself. You can be sure that if you choose me to be your photographer, I will not leave anything at home. I strive to be fully present, whether I am shooting a wedding or writing poetry.
